first random poem of the blog!

you don't know what you've done to me

and you'll never know what you mean to me

but all i know is when you're next to me

the last thing i'll ever want is you to leave me

i'm sorry that it's ending up like this

and i'm sorry you have to hear all this

but i don't regret telling you this

every word you've ever said is the cause of this

you're so incredible, do you know it, love?

and now i'm far too caught up, love

but your smiles bring me home, love

i wish, i wish you felt the same as i, love

when you're here, dear, all is well again

and all i need is you to hold me close again

but the numbing heartache will return again

once you walk away it stabs again

it's the only way i'd even think to say it all

and even still i'll never dare to share it all

but mere words could never ever catch it all

though the way things are i wouldn't want to risk it all

my daily sunshine is a hug from you

and it's a dark, dark day when i don't see you

but i'll never get the chance to be with you

know in your heart i'll always love you

That was a weird poem for me to write.  Rarely do I write love poems.  Most of my other stuff is either depressing, pessimistic, or cynical (and I don't care if that's redundant).  Breaks from the norm are good, in my opinion.
